Nowadays, the projects are becoming so much great with elaborated documentation that except providing links, one technology website needs nothing extra to provide to the readers. That is great.
If you are a Mac user, you will probably have a setup like we have described on our guide for iTerm2, Homebrew and ZSH Installation on OS X. Ruby Gems might not get installed without using sudo command, you need to use the default Terminal in that case.

Practically the only command to install Compass is :
1 | sudo gem install compass |
As we said before, sudo will be refused by Homebrew, so run the command from default Terminal App, not iTerm2. From iTerm, you can create an app with the command :
