We are using full HTTPS URLs, this is a kind of official notice for various providers and readers of this website in order to provide us feedback. It was possibly expected that, we will change to full HTTPS instead of keep using HTTP, from our recent post.
Why The Customize Windows is Using HTTPS Now?
While it is costly to use a good SSL certificate, process is quite complicated to convert old WordPress website to HTTPS, this step is mandatory for couple of reasons :
- Compliance with the new HTTP 2.0 Protocol – we are becoming forward compatible
- Providing some privacy and security to the end users – readers. NSA and Heartbleed stuffs is known to all
What Bugs Can Be Expected For The Fact – The Customize Windows is Using HTTPS?
We can not serve cached content. Page speed might be slower than it was for HTTP. For security reasons, all files are directly served, only caching is done by varnish, to some extent by ngnix as web server. You might face 404 pages (we imported old website as XML to avoid WordPress Database related issues). Please report us about 404 urls.

Linked websites : Link to third party website can get converted to HTTPS, where expected is HTTP. HTTPS url might throw errors. This is fully unintentional and one must help us to point to the till non-edited pages where there is/are 404 outgoing link.
It is unlikely to face any downtime, yet; for any loadbalancer served webpage (Service Not Available), please reload the url after 30 minutes. Service Not Available might appear due to huge number of requests. This is a bug of WordPress (Dig Effect).
If the Padlock icon does not appear on browser or you are prompted to accept any security warning, please accept it and report us. Usually the security warnings are not very dangerous to accept (it appears when a static file appears from non HTTPS urls), but we might need to report it to Google AdSense and AdWords as there can be danger.
