Very Easy With 100% Working Warranty. Code, Circuit Included. This Arduino Basic 3V Motor Control is Intended For Speed Variation For Robot. Previously, we have discussed about various methods of Motor Control with Arduino. This method is too basic, but need not to fight, no reason to cry for not working. Whatever motor you have, we will make its speed variation with Arduino. You will not rotate the motor for fun, definitely there is reason. Reason is usually to move a robotic chassis. With $5-$20 you’ll get chassis, thats for future usage.

This is not a safe method. Do not run the motor for more than 2-5 minutes for testing only. Even the smaller motors may ultimately damage the I/O pins. We will use an H-bridge on other guide.

 

Arduino Basic 3V Motor Control : Things You Need and Must Know

 

This is actually not a great way for 3V motor control, this is usually for who can never move their 3V motor with all guides on the web. We are providing 100% warranty that this guide will help you to control the rotational speed for any 3V DC Motor.

You should have a 3V DC motor, an Arduino UNO board, few Jumper Wires, a breadboard, a multimeter and if your 3V motor is resistant to rotation with other guides, then breadboard power supply – specifically we need that YuRobot power supply.

Unidirectional speed but we made it to vary. This code is modified from instructables.com to make it very easy.

 

Arduino Basic 3V Motor Control : Steps and Tips

 

Obviously you know how to create the circuit and upload the code. Do not connect the motor first – instead add multimeter there to measure the voltage output. The output will be sinusoidal like – 2.85, 2.50, 2.01, 1.50, 0.90, 2.85…now add the motor.

3V Motor may not rotate due to need of higher frequency or some extra power to overcome inertia. Adding a YuRobot Breadboard powering unit to breadboard and supply it power pulled down to 3.3V – 3V motor will work, the speed will never go to zero but you can clearly understand, its rotation is varying from the sound. We have created the diagram so that adding a YuRobot Breadboard powering unit will perfectly work.

There will be back flow of 0.01V to 0.05V electricity towards the Arduino board – measure with multimeter. Null it with Diode and a Resister.
