The idea of a Virtual Private Network is that it creates an encrypted tunnel between your device (laptop/smartphone/smartwatch/tablet/PC) you’re using and the thing it is connected to – a server or your office or home. VPNs allow you to be secure on an unsecured network. Your traffic will be transported to the place, which is 100% protected from hackers. People use VPNs to stay anonymous online and to browse without a possibility that their data can be stolen by a hacker or cyber criminal. Throwing away your online privacy is not recommended for both businessmen who run their online companies and average users who constantly make banking operations online. VPN is the easiest way you can stay anonymous and secure online, which is the best alternative to other existed programs, which offer either anonymity or security.
Still, don’t sure if you need a VPN connection? Then you should answer the following questions:

  • How regularly do you use WiFi networks?
  • Would you like to protect the confidential data on your PC, laptop, and smartphone?
  • Do you want to hide your current location from the websites you’re visiting?
  • Want to get access to the restricted websites to watch movies, listen to music, and shop online?
  • Do you want to have a free access to all the websites you use on a daily basis when traveling abroad?

If the answer even to one of the above questions is YES, then you definitely need to get a VPN service installed on your devices. This is exactly what you need if you want to get both secure and private Internet connection without the need to install hundreds of applications or extensions to different programs. A VPN is a universal tool, which doesn’t require constant updates and additional downloads. You can choose between a paid and a free version depending on what you’re looking for in your VPN. Paid VPNs are a little bit faster at work and have a wider range of server locations. Protect the data on your devices before it got stolen by hackers or cyber criminals, especially if you’re a fan of browsing the Internet in airports, restaurants, coffee shops, or department stores.
But what about having a VPN service at home? Do you need it?

Should You Set Up a VPN Service at Home?

When it comes to using a VPN service at home, imagine that all your data is not encrypted, so everyone can read and see what you’re doing while browsing the Net. This is especially relevant for those people who want to have the Internet privacy when visiting different websites from home too. Or do you want to have a better selection of websites while staying at home? For example, there is a number of popular online stores and educational services which are limited to certain locations only. Having a VPN at home will allow you to get access to those websites while sitting in the living room or drinking coffee in the kitchen. Isn’t it great?
